The Hazlerig Music House

The Hazlerig Music House, 24 Alpine Overlook, Crestone, CO, is a venue for acoustic house concerts in South Central Colorado. Since 1999, more than 225 concerts have been hosted in the house. Musicians from all over the world, as well as local artists, have performed here in a variety of styles, including Classical, Celtic, Folk, Country, Bluegrass, New Age, Jazz, Indian, and Middle Eastern.

Concerts are usually held on Sunday afternoons at 2, although sometimes, depending on the schedules of traveling musicians, they are on Saturday nights or Wednesday nights. Suggested donation is typically $10, or $5 for seniors and students.

The Hazlerig Music House is also the rehearsal space for the Alpine Overlook Chamber Music Ensemble on Monday afternoons. The garden room, adjoining the music room, is the setting for an informal painting session on Thursday afternoons.
